My family loves banana nut bread and the fact that in about an hour we can go from a few bananas to some incredibly yummy, almost dessert like bread is a plus, for sure. The problems for us have been the bread would be…baked a little too much on the outside, still a little gooey on the inside, a little too dry, not quite sweet enough, and the list goes on. So I set out on a mission tonight to find a recipe worth saving, and boy did I find it!
I have made my share of banana nut bread over the years, but never have my kids raved over it like they did tonight. This recipe from http://www.cookingclassy.com (http://www.cookingclassy.com/2012/04/banana-bread-the-perfect-loaf/) deserves a blue ribbon for sure!
If you have ever had any of the problems I listed above, this recipe takes care of it. Just be sure to use a light colored pan, not dark. The darker the pan the hotter the pan gets and tends to over bake the outside. We used our princess house one tonight and it baked perfectly.
Enjoy and thank you Jaclyn!
